Agreement & eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stride AI mobile application for iOS (the “App”) and related services provided by Stride AI (“Stride AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The App is available at getstrideai.com and through the Apple App Store.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Your use of the App may also be subject to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions, including those applicable to In-App Purchases and the App Store (for example, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple Media Services terms, as updated from time to time). If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s mandatory terms as they apply to your use of the App through Apple’s platform, Apple’s terms may govern solely to the extent of that conflict regarding the Apple platform.

Account

You must create an account to use the App. We support Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at contact@getstrideai.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may permanently delete your account from within the App (Settings → Delete Account), subject to the effects described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions & payments

Stride AI uses a subscription model. After onboarding, access to the App requires an active subscription, subject to any free trial we offer.

Plans and pricing

Current subscription options may include:

  • Free trial: 7-day free trial, where offered
  • Monthly plan: USD $9.99 per month, auto-renewing
  • Annual plan: USD $69.99 per year, auto-renewing

Prices, trial length, and plan availability are displayed in the App and may change; taxes may apply where required.

Billing through Apple

All payments are processed exclusively through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We do not directly collect or store your credit card or other payment card information for App subscriptions. Your payment relationship is with Apple, subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Auto-renewal & cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in line with Apple’s standard practices. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings on your device (for example, Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated by Apple.

Free trial

If you start a free trial, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID payment method may be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, consistent with Apple’s policies.

Restore purchases

You may restore prior purchases using the in-app “Restore Purchases” feature (or equivalent), subject to Apple’s rules.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat as a subscription management platform. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and subscription status information from Apple to help us validate entitlements.

Refunds

Payments are handled by Apple. Refund requests and eligibility are generally governed by Apple’s policies and applicable law. We do not control Apple’s refund decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple’s policies.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes unless we expressly authorize otherwise in writing. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or other users’ accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
  • Use automated means to access the App in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Misrepresent your identity, manipulate subscription or entitlement verification, or circumvent technical limitations

Health & medical disclaimer

Stride AI is not a medical device. The training plans, coaching cues, and health data displayed are for informational and fitness purposes only. Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition. The app is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Physical activity involves inherent risks. You are solely responsible for determining whether the App is appropriate for your health and fitness level. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain, or any other concerning symptoms.

AI-generated content

Training plans and related coaching content may be generated using artificial intelligence. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You should use your own judgment, adjust workouts as needed, and stop exercising if you feel unwell.

Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by Stride AI or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for personal use on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules.

You retain ownership of information and content you submit (such as run data you generate). To operate the App, you grant Stride AI a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative analytics and aggregated insights from your content as needed to provide and improve the services, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account as described in the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service (where permitted, with reasonable notice when practicable).

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Disclaimer of warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stride AI and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the App or these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), except where such limitations are not permitted by law.

Fitness activities. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stride AI is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your physical activities or reliance on training guidance provided through the App.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stride AI and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.

Subject to applicable law and any mandatory arbitration or venue rules that may apply (including those imposed by Apple or applicable consumer protection laws), you agree that the courts located in British Columbia, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App and/or on our website and update the “Last updated” date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (such as an in-app notice). Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms, except where prohibited by law. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and cancel your subscription through Apple.
